May Bank Holiday Weekend – Classes as Usual

All classes will continue as usual over the Easter holiday weekend. There will be one class on Friday May 4 at 6.00pm and two classes on Monday May 7 at 6.00pm and 7.30pm.

Saturday Morning Workshop Series
Inversions

10.00am – 1.00pm

April 21
May 19

The next two classes in the series of Saturday morning workshops will begin on April 21 on the theme of Inversions. This doesn’t mean we will be doing 3 hours of headstand; we will be looking at the place of inversions in your practice, how to prepare for and deepen your practice in these most beneficial of asanas, and variations in the poses.

These workshops will be suitable for those who have been doing Iyengar yoga for at least 1 year.

Drop-in Classes

The beginners class is suitable for those new to yoga or the Iyengar method and there is no need to book, just turn up. The Level 2 class is for those who have practised Iyengar yoga for at least one year. Students are expected to practise shoulder stands.

Restorative Drop-in Class

The restorative class on Friday evening is suitable for those with at least 6 months experience. It is a class of supported or modified poses held for a longer period of time, designed to relax and refresh the body. Why not wind down from the week and rejuvenate for the weekend.

Saturday Morning Workshops

Prabhakara is leading another series of mornings at the studio open to those who have some experience of Iyengar Yoga. Basic postures will be explored in greater detail than is possible in the weekly class. Suitable for those with at least 12 months experience. See Recent News for current workshops.

All classes run from 10am to 1pm.
